Season of Colors

By – Aishwarya Raghunath

Spring rose its head
To garland the earth
After a long hiatus
Flowers bloomed off the bud;
With smiling faces
Paying obeisance to sun
The earth got back its lost glory
Which the cold hands of winter had wrenched;

Nightangles larked in happiness
The spring was setting it’s feet;
The sun brightened
Birds scurried
The kingdom of earth
Was decorated in glory;

Flowers marinated charm in their radiance
Letting out pleasant fragrance;
Their aura spread,
Soothing the minds
When spring flared its nectarine wings
Life and death met at confluence…

Singing the glory of love
Nature resurrected spreading colors yellow, white, and red
The flowers dazzled in arms of wind,
Life once more emerged victorious with onset of spring!
