Mannequins adored with the best suited clothes,
Passer by waiting & watching them in awe,
Then there was a man
Shivering with cold,
Sitting there still & static,
begging to buy a piece of cloth,
Eyes turning blind,
as they watch him plead,
not a single hand extending,
leaving him alone to silently grieve.
The moment when he thought humanity having perished,
there came a small little girl,
who was ready to share with him a piece of bread for him to eat.
Those little hands then covered the man in blankets small,
though it couldn’t cover him full,
Still he felt warm underneath it.
Those tears that were hurting his eyes with pain,
now tears of happiness started to flow out of them,
those gleaming tiny eyes took away all his pain.

Those tiny hands condoning all his flaws,
compassion striking his heart’s cord.
That little act of compassion turned into a chain of goodness,
content hearts kept sharing kindness with whomever it was needed.

Thus, how a simple act of kindness bought change on his health,
how an unexpected encounter,
Silently whispered a message to the world,
doing good for others will never go unaccounted,
With spreading goodness it will grow more,
the power of compassion.
